Since I don't have to actually play, I'll be bringing a tau-eldar-dark eldar-necron army to the table, so to speak. You should give bonus points if it's easier to measure your army in pounds than in units or points.

I you want to play, we will find a way for you to be able to get games in. I have let people take over parts of my army in a couple Apocalypse games already. There's no reason it couldn't happen again. Very Happy

On another note, I will have pictures from both the battles I was there for tonight (Dru vs Nolze and Mark vs me). I am going to go play with adding images in another thread. Figuring that out will make it easier for me to claim points for painting stuff ( {shameless bragging}like the Dauntless cruiser that goes in my fleet tonight {/shameless bragging}).
Inquisitorial Dauntless is finished. Squadron of Cobras will be done in the morning. Very Happy
We need more alien players......

Man this looks like so much fun! How long does this plan on going on? If it is going for quite awhile I hope to get involved. If not, I hope everyone does it again and I can get on board the next time around.

My new paint workstation is finally just about ready to roll at home. Assembly of troops should begin this week.

Unfortunately, I picked another Space Marine type of army and I won't be working on my second army until everything I have is together and painted which is the Assault on Black Reach box and some more of my templars.

This really does look like a blast! I like the fact that people can get points for games and other stuff as well.

Doesn't it? I am pissed that I haven't been up in two weeks to contribute, but this weekend looks like a winner.

And it goes 'till December.

I wouldn't mind playing that "dividing line" scenario.

Is anyone going to be around the shop this evening to play 40K?

Another set of pictures is up, from Sunday night.

I hope I talked Brad into bringing an army from either Disorder or Xenos when he works on Sundays. I can't understand why he would show up once a week during a campaign, and not try to get a couple games in each time, or build units, or paint.

Ok, I am (with permission from Dru) moving all of the Campaign Army Backstories into one thread, and all of the Battle Report Fluff into another. It will be easiest to just keep those threads close to the top for any new players that wish to read up on whats going on, and hopefully join in our campaign. Edit: Backstories should be all together. I will get to the fiction in a little while. If I quoted your story over, please remind me to get good pictures of your army if we are at the shop together. I can edit the pictures into the posts.
Please try to post your fluff in the appropriate thread, so we don't keep scrolling things away.

I know we have a painting section on the forums, but since we get points for painting units for the campaign, I am going to start one here. I got a PM from someone else painting, also, so I hope it makes sense to lump it together here where Dru can count it up.

I know I showed up right around the time this kicked off.

Is or was there a deadline for announcing participation in this?

Also, do the unit assembly and painting need to take place at the shop?

If I can still participate I will but don't want to cause any headaches for anyone. Laughing

nope you can jump in whenever. i already have you on the list for the imperium.
you can assemble and paint wherever you would like, just let me know what you do.

the campaign is perfect for new players, and part of the reason it was set up, to show newer players the glory of 40k.

Awesome thanks Dru!

If I get some free time over the next few days I will work on the fluff for my forces. I will also give you a total of assembled units Saturday when I come down to hang out since I will have everything with me anyways.

Writing an entire history of my warband is craziness. I think I need to scale it down...
