ohhh this is going to be fun...

anyone else here feel like a zombie barbecue? I know the Blood Angels do!

P.S. Hope theres a spot for me at 3:00, can't come in any sooner. Also, I might like to borrow someone's Razorback if they have an extra... Anyway, see you all there tomorrow!

Ah, ya' know, come to think of it, um, really, *cough*, well, erm, honestly... I happen to be the guy with the track record of firing on allies when I run out of enemies. It's a boredom/instant gratification type thing, probably a treatable mental disorder I'm sure.

Crap! My original start time didn't post...!

I was thinking about starting things the same time they always start at 1 pm, but if matters proceed fast enough with the first game, I don't see the harm in a second one at 3 or 4...

Heh, you are being swamped with zombie hunters, Jon. You may want to have a print out of the rules handy, so as people drift in new games can just kinda form.

It should be legally enforced that all wargaming should be Halloween themed this weekend!

I swiped this from another site.

Here’s a Fun Warhammer or Warhammer 40K scenario just in time for Halloween, courtesy of Games Workshop!

What each Player needs:

1 legal HQ choice

What the host needs:

Some terrain, A lot of zombies, Lots of zombie markers (bases with a random number underneath (d6+4 is ideal).

Event

Each player gets one legal HQ choice.

Zombies use the stats from Warhammer fantasy. In 40K they are also fearless, subject to rage and are shambling (fleet) and poison (4+). In fantasy they are skirmishers, have poison attacks and are subject to frenzy

All players are considered to be on one side and the zombies are considered to be on the other side.

Deployment

Each player deploys his HQ at least 18” away from any other players HQ.

Once all HQ are placed place all the zombie tokens so that non are within spotting distance of any HQ

Special rules:

Each HQ has a spotting distance equal to double its highest initiative.

Zombie tokens should be flipped over once they move into spotting distance.

All non psychic (or magic) shooting attacks must roll a d6. On a 4+ the shooting works as normal. Anything less and the HQ is out of ammo this turn.

Play 6 turns or until all HQ selections are dead.

Zombie tokens are continually recycled at the beginning of each turn from the center of the board.

The Winner: The last HQ alive, or in the event of multiple HQs alive the one that has killed the most zombies.

Optional rule 1: Dead HQs drop their war gear which can be picked up and used by other players. This will require each player to bring a war gear marker to replace their HQ in the event of his untimely death.

Optional rule 2: Dead HQs are now zombies. Drop all stats by 2 and join the hunt for the remaining breathers. Zombie HQs are always spotted and thus can be seen by any of the other players.

I'm in for some disorder. If someone has a battlewagon I can borrow I can play some orks otherwise I'll have my chaos space marines.
