I've now played a few games of Anima Tactics and I must say I do enjoy the game very much. If anyone is interested in learing how to play or to set up a time to find out if you like it pop me a post here. Saturdays are a for sure but any other day is possible as well. I have more than enough models to teach with.
Heres an overview. The game is a skirmish based game with a feel for Anime. This means that the characters are very "Anime-ish". Your force consists of single models each with their own special attacks, stats, and abilities. The game has allot of options for building your force. You can build around a Faction (Light or Dark, with Neutrals that can fight for either), or around a sub-faction where you can mix Light and Dark and Neutral as long as they are all part of the same group. With these mixes of characters and a broad range of character classes it has a very RPG feel to it with the enjoyment of a quick miniature battle.
Games seem to be very short. I have only played 2 as of yet but both were fairly quick even with a ton of time spent on understanding the rules and how they work in a game.
It is also a fairly inexpensive game. There is a starter box for both Light and Dark that runs $19.99. This includes 2 characters, rule book, tokens and Die. Each additional character is currently $9.99. An average fun game seems to be around 4-5 characters, where a beginner game could easily be the first 2 characters in the box.
New Characters are being released in a fairly steady stream. Seems to be 2-6 new characters a month.
I await anyone ready to demo!
Thanx,

Spammer most definitely - he posted on another board. . . most obvious reason he's a spammer: he posted on the Anima Tactics thread! lol. _________________ I suggest a new strategy; let the wookie win.
