So I spent a good chunk of last night at Warstore filling up my shopping cart after working out flexible lists with all the factions. I got sleppy about 3 so I went to bed figuring I could finish up the Ophidians and Orcs today and order. All told it was at least one of everything they made, basically enough to field two of any unit in any army except Wolfen or Barbarians. All total just over $6000. So today, I go to finish up and all the Confrontation pages are blank. So I call Niel and he told me most of the stuff was out of stock, just "available" but even that's dried up. So he said he decided to take it down so people wouldn't be ordering it expecting it to be in for christmas.

Blah. This sucks.

dang dude, that sucks. guess you'll just have to keep stealing away my ebay victories.

we'll have to check at alliance and w/ rackham. maybe we can put in a huge order through JAC.

Chris, Sarge, Jud, any ideas on how we can get our hands on this stuff?

I got your order in at Warstore Dru before the pages went away. Only time will tell.

Wow, I really shouldn't type while I'm in a rush...
Anyway... From talking with Neil it sounded like they had almost no stock of Confrontation stuff on the shelves and no reliable way to get it back in - even though the ordering pages showed almost everything available. It sounded like when they got an order for it, they would try to fill it or get what they didn't have, and I'm not sure what they did with stuff they couldn't. Anyway, he'd said they pulled everything and did a manual inventory of what they actually had, and were putting every piece of it up on a special closeout page. A the time they put it up Wednesday night they didn't have much only 1 or two of about 20% of any of the lines, and it looks much bleaker now. Chances are pretty excellent it just let you order stuff they didn't have. Unfortunately I've had to shift my budget around and devote almost all of my "escapist fantasy crap" money to use as an Ebay reserve.

On the bright side for you guys, I "bought it now"ed a 43 blister pack auction like 5 minutes after it went up, and about 20 of the blisters are wolfen and barbarians. Since I'm almost guaranteed to have no interest in collecting them I'll probably use them for trade or let you guys have them for pretty cheap.

I broke down and ordered enough stuff to field a 2 of any unit Lions army at current retail prices. I'll *&*$#* conservatives and their faith based economics, the stuff is just too expensive thanks to them boning our economy in the cornhole and making the dollar worth 45% of what it was a few years ago. I can't believe a Canadian dollar is worth more than a US dollar now and we're still losing ground. Frankly, we should all be buying guns, ammunition, and canned food instead of this crap.

cool let me know what you've got. i wouldn't mind filling out my wolfen. i also won a barbarian army. well at least i think i did. i bought an army on second chance offer. the dude sent me an email saying that someone had also won the bid, and he has to check to see who really won it. kinda bs. so if i end up getting that, i may not mind grabbing some of that stuff too.

Rackham will be in transition for a little while since they were bought out by an investment group. This is why Fantasy Flight will drop their distribution at the end of this month. There are some details on Table Top Gaming News including an English translation of the official press release. I have been waiting to see what will happen since Rackham originally said they were having troubles even before they used Fantasy Flight as a distributor. I’m not sure who this group is that bought Rackham, but I have a bad feeling about the whole situation since it kind of reminds me of Urban Mammoth (formally I-Kore). Time will tell.
